At Utah Tech Hurricane Education Center, our focus on lifelong learners helps students develop into individuals who embrace Active Learning, Active Life, engaging fully in their education, applying knowledge through hands-on experiences, and committing to making a positive impact in their communities. Our campus in Hurricane, Utah, provides residents across Southern Utah with easier access to complete their education goals.
The center offers a wide range of programs, including certification courses such as Peace Officer Standards and Training and Certified Nursing Assistant, allowing students to complete full programs without leaving Hurricane Valley. We also host a variety of Community Education courses, including Know, Sow & Grow, which features a large garden plot behind the center for experiential, hands-on learning that connects classroom knowledge to real-world skills.
Located within walking distance of Hurricane High School, the center provides concurrent enrollment options for high school students, helping them save time and money by offering courses that fulfill both high school and college requirements. The center also includes a fully equipped testing facility to support student success.
